Chris Gorsek

I’m an educator, a dad, a grandfather, and a former police officer and that is what drives me as a Representative. My wife Jackie and our family have called Troutdale home for the last 2 decades.

I have been teaching geography and law enforcement at Mount Hood Community College since 1996. I also served as a police officer with the Portland Police Bureau for seven years where I patrolled neighborhoods on the east side of Portland.

As a legislator, I’m using the experience I have gained throughout my life to improve, reform and strengthen our communities and district.

Stop Crime and Fund Police:

Portland’s decisions and policies bleed into Clackamas, East Multnomah, and beyond. Sadly, Oregon has become a national magnet for hard drug users – a catalyst of major crime.

Bonham supports giving law enforcement the tools they need to fight crime. He has a 100% record supporting increased penalties for drug use, theft and vandalism. He will increase law enforcement funding and “Back the Blue.”
