I Will Fight to Cut Crime.

Personal safety is paramount to community success. Police are fundamental to that safety. The community needs to KNOW police are professionally and honorably looking out for individual rights. Police need the full support of the people they serve and civic leadership to ensure our safety.
This social contract is broken. I will fight to restore it in a balanced, measured manner.

I Will Fight to Fix the Homeless Problem.

The houseless problem in Oregon is complex. Concern for the welfare and safety of those on the streets is paramount to resolving this issue. Allowing widespread tent cities and panhandling to continue is not humane to those suffering from homelessness. To do so presents an ever-increasing public safety and health problem.
We need to work through local community organizations, churches, and houseless support services to transition people off the streets and develop workplace skills helping them achieve personal success.

I Will Fight to Empower Parents.

Oregon has one of the worst-rated public education systems in the nation. This must change. Poor families have the right to choose the same education as the wealthy ones.

Oregon should facilitate an education market as diverse as our community. That that includes public, private, home, and other innovative schools for parents to choose from and allow their education money to follow their children.

“Full transparency” should be the mantra of Oregon’s education system. All teaching materials and education policies should be easily and publicly accessible for parental review.

We know what works. We just need to do it. Elect me and I will.

¿ I Will Promote Mental Health Legislation.

The number of Oregonians experiencing mental health issues has grown significantly during the pandemic. However, our health care system has not rallied to respond. As a result, we see more and more Oregonians suffer the impacts of untreated mental health and addictions in our schools, on our streets, and, sadly in our jails. I will fight for increased funding for treatment. More importantly, I will work to restructure our behavioral health care system so Oregonians can receive help when they first need it.

Acknowledge Mental Health and treat it adequately !

¿ I Will Fight to Reign In Crime.

The highest purpose of our police is to secure the life, property, and rights of the people. Like the rest of us, Police must obey the law and be held accountable. At the same time, police must be able to vigorously enforce the law, confident we have their backs. We need to adequately fund, train, and support all police who serve with honor and heroism.

Enough of this crime wave – we need to take our streets back!

¿ I Will Fight to Reign In Homelessness.

Like you, I want to help and show compassion to people struggling to survive. Widespread homelessness and aggressive panhandling is not an answer. Both threaten our health and safety. It’s time to shut down homeless camps and tent communities. At the same time, we need to work with our churches, communities, and networks of shelters and services to make alternatives of homelessness safer and more accessible.

Reduce homelessness by facilitating job creation.

We know what works. We just need to do it. Elect me and I will.

A government that does not recognize the rights of its people, ignores their grievances, and uses threats of retaliation for non-compliance, is tyrannical.

Since covid 19 mandates Oregonians have had their lives turned upside down, their freedoms restricted, and their voices silenced.

When citizens voiced their disagreement with vaccine mandates, current elected officials abused their powers by threatening citizens income for non-compliance. These threats even targeted those we needed the most, in time of crisis. Many first responders, doctors, nurses, and essential workers, our pandemic heroes, were tossed aside and their careers destroyed, for simply affirming their rights.

Parents, fed up with the lack of quality in education, progressive political indoctrination, the forcing of masks on healthy children and the sexualization of underaged children, showed up in record numbers to protest. For these parent’s efforts, to protect their children, they were labeled terrorists, reported to law enforcement, and harassed by school faculty.

The Oregon I grew up in valued our Constitution and Bill of Rights and both parties loved our country. The Oregon I grew up in cared about small business, people being able to build their dreams. valued education and equipped my generation with the tools needed to succeed in life and protected a child’s innocence. The Oregon I grew up in had safe streets, protected citizens, held crimals accountable, was color blind and we were taught to respect each other and ignore race, wasn’t that the dream of Martin Luther King Jr?

We have many issues in our state right now. There are serious threats to our safety, children’s futures, and our economy. Lets work together to restore Oregon to its greatness and make it fully accountable to and governed by the consent of its people.

Faith and Community

Growing up in a family with three siblings in Gervais, I developed an early fondness for freedom. I have deep roots in the Gervais\Brooks communities. My father was a lifelong logger and trucker in the community as well as an ordained minister. My strong work ethic and deep Christian faith have directed my life. As a child, my siblings and I worked as farmhands, picking produce for local farmers.

I played softball, basketball, and track for Gervais High School. I also worked with Bauman Farms to continue the financial support of the local leadership club at Gervais High. With a diverse student group from all backgrounds, I was honored to be chosen Homecoming Queen my senior year.

Miracles, Determination, and Community

My husband Jake and I struggled for several years to start a family of our own, but with God’s blessing in 2019, we welcomed our twins into the world. I’ve continued to stay involved in my community but left the dental field with the birth of our third child. I am passionate about the direction of our community, local schools, and economy, and will fight to protect our rights.

I’m not a politician. I just believe it’s time for Oregonians to step up to save this great state!

A New and Fresh Voice

“Tracy Cramer is not only a wonderful mother and wife, but she’s also fired up about improving our great state and is filled with fresh ideas. I believe she’s uniquely suited for this position in the community and for this time in our state!”

* I Will Fight to Empower Parents.

Schools and teachers are important, but PARENTS should be the primary directors of their childrens’ education – not government officials. School curriculum, teaching methods, board policies, and other such things must fully transparent and easily accessible to parents. Money should follow students into any accredited public, private, charter, or home school chosen by parents because poor, working, and middle class parents should have more of the same choices that rich parents have.
