Rainey S Lambert

I grew up right in the heart of representative district 2 in the stunning and quaint city of Roseburg, Oregon. I’m a proud graduate of Roseburg High School and student at Southwestern Oregon Community College, where I study history and compete at the national level for their renowned swim team.

I grew up in a lower middle class family with a disabled father and a mother who is a rural teacher in Douglas County. I’ve always known that I started at a disadvantage, but that won’t stop me from working hard and improving my own situation as well as others who find themselves struggling to get by.

What is happening north up in Salem isn’t what the people of Oregon want. I believe that the people of Oregon are tired of seeing our communities torn apart by constant bickering and “do-nothing” legislation.

Salem needs a voice of the next generation that is tired of all the B.S and will fight for the issues that matter most.

I’m running for office because District 2 is my home and I want to see it live up to the potential I know it’s capable of. We live in such a unique area of the State, we need to see that its people, jobs and environment are represented with integrity and grit.

I arrived in Oregon, Port Orford specifically, in July 2017 following the clean-up of the remainder of my post-2008 recession financial/real estate difficulties and began rebuilding a new network of friends and neighbors within my community. Then, COVID-19 appeared.

I discovered that many of my friends and neighbors were unprepared for what became our everyday lives. As a Precinct Committee Person (PCP) of the Curry County Democrats, I was suddenly confronted with the opportunity, for which I had little prior experience, to be elected Chair of our County Party. I encountered a place within my community in which I could address challenges and help my friends and neighbors survive a pandemic and make contact with their local governments for help and assistance during a time of great uncertainty.

I learned that being retired on a fixed income, single and without dependents other than the remainder of my farm critters, 2 dogs and 2 cats, I could devote my personal time to the benefit of others.
While participating in County Board of Commissioners and City Council meetings, I discovered that our rural SW corner of Oregon contains a wealth of intelligent and capable folks whose voices were undiscovered and/or unheard. My desire, as State House Representative, will be to continue unifying the citizens of a larger region, much in the same way that I have on the local County level. I ask you…Let your Vote be your Voice and Elect Bret Cecil as your House Representative in District 1!

Dear Fellow Citizen:

Remember the Founders found it necessary to develop rules for the organization of government through the U.S. Constitution; that law is the set of rules which government enforces through its deputies and police, its courts, and its other agencies to settle disputes; that liberty and justice cannot survive without Christian-Mosaic purposes of grace and law, inestimable progress (revelation) acknowledged by the seventh U.S. President: “The Bible is the Book upon which this Republic rests.”

If there were no law, or if these aren’t enforced in once beautiful Portland-Multnomah during the past two years, every person could do just as he or she pleased, resulting in chaos and unlawful violence.

Looking for cause: A citation index for scientific research and higher learning lists Marx and Lenin higher than the Bible. This has brought deception to liberated people, because Marxism-Leninism proposes separation of conscience and political power instead of separation (and limitation) of political powers, one-party elections, absolute top-to-bottom party discipline, and suppression of all opposition, in Portland from Republicans for example. That philosophy rejects God but has been finding wide acceptance, in science and public safety, including judicial power called non-partisan, in public education and health care, suppressing and ignoring dissent on curriculum and treatment & medication. Witnessed by indifference, lack of discourse & love and some officials who obviously believe they are what they merely represent.

Had enough?

Then, fellow citizen, reject unlimited government control & idolatrous manipulation and defend your unalienable individual rights, elect legislative power that doesn’t counterfeit but waves the flag of the United States of America and the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Cheerfully,

John Verbeek

The State is working aggressively to destroy generations of Oregonians through lockdowns, school closures and tyrannical state actions – all in the name of “safety” and “equity.”

After my family business was destroyed in 2020 by lockdowns, lawlessness and cancel culture, I decided to take a stand. I founded Free Oregon, Inc., a non-partisan 501c4 fiercely fighting against government overreach. Free Oregon unified tens of thousands of Oregonians to defend the freedoms of first responders, teachers and healthcare workers; restore back to basics education in our schools; hold government accountable to operate within the law; and expose and punish political corruption. As your representative for Senate District 19, I will continue this fight against the relentless attacks on our freedoms and “clean house” in Salem.

TOP PRIORITIES IN SALEM

  • Limit the powers of governor, OHA, ODE and OSHA
  • Reverse Covid mandates and return to constitutionally guaranteed medical freedoms and bodily autonomy
  • Support and fully fund public safety infrastructure
  • Protect 2nd Amendment rights
  • Reverse unconstitutional gun laws imposed on law abiding citizens
  • Stop political indoctrination in our public schools, restore statewide standards, remove divisive CRT and return school districts to local control
  • Lower taxes; reduce the size of state government; support small business and defend property rights

Our bodies, our children and our property do not belong to the government. It’s time to take Oregon in a new direction.

James Farley: a leader who will deliver tangible results for our community

James Farley will bring experience, knowledge, and compassion to the Legislature as our State Representative. From his days as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Samoa, to his active leadership in programs to help homeless youth and those living in low-income households, to his influential roles with major healthcare providers, James has demonstrated his commitment to help those most vulnerable in our society.

James’s wife, Lori, has deep roots in the Clackamas area where her grandfather started Clackamas Auto Parts. James knows the importance of supporting small businesses in building a strong and vibrant community.

“James Farley is the best candidate to champion the needs of House District 40. “
Rick Metsger-former State Senator

Access to Healthcare: As a 30-year leader in healthcare management and delivery, James knows what needs to be done to make the system accessible and affordable for all Oregonians. This is especially true for our low-income population, where he will fight to maintain local control of Oregon Health Plan delivery systems to meet the unique needs of every community.

Creating Family Wage Jobs: James understands a strong economy requires a well-trained labor force. He will invest in the future of all Oregonians, promoting upward mobility to strengthen the middle class.ange:

Climate Change: Climate change is real and is already having an impact on Oregon’s livability as weather warms, wildfires intensify and the glaciers that supply our water supply continue to shrink. James advocates acting with the urgency this crisis demands.

Education Excellence: A husband of an educator and a product of Oregon public education, James believes we must invest more in our children’s future.

Educational Background: Cascade Christian High School, Phagan's Cosmetology Institute: CNA through RCC, Nursing pre-requisites RCC

Prior Governmental Experience: Republican PCP, Eagle Point School Board 2018-Current

Personal Background: I was born and raised in Southern Oregon, in a conservative, Christian home. I am married with 2 children, 19 and 13. My husband and I are local small business owners and committed to southern Oregon. I am unapologetic about my faith and the calling Christ has put on my heart for this position.

My Why: My dad has been involved in local politics for decades, but I became involved 5 years ago when I discovered my 8 year old child’s school-supplied iPad came with unfiltered access to the entire internet. I realized I could no longer stand aside – not just for my own kids, but for every child in our district. I was elected to the Eagle Point School Board in 2018 and have worked tirelessly over the past 5 years to protect the children in District 9 from the indoctrination coming from Salem. Our board has succeeded in implementing real time internet monitoring and restrictions, we stopped Comprehensive Sex Education, oppose Critial Race Theory, and have advocated endlessly for Local Control. Leading the effort, we, along with 25 other districts, sent Local Control resolutions to the governor.

As a result of the edicts coming from Salem, representing District 56 in Salem has become my priority. I will be accessible and available to you for conversation. With your support we will restore and protect our God-given Constitutional freedoms. Together we will make a difference.

-Pro Local Control

PRIORITIZING OUR KIDS, NOT POLITICS

Oregon leaders are failing to fully fund our schools, lowering graduation standards, and removing our parental rights to know what’s best for our kids. We need to prioritize our students and stop treating them like political weapons.

RESTORING LAW AND ORDER TO KEEP US SAFE

I’ve dedicated my life to public service in law enforcement, and know what it takes to keep communities safe to raise our families. Being soft on crime is a risk we can’t afford, and it’s time the legislature stepped-up to fully support our public safety professionals.

MENTAL HEALTH SOLUTIONS THAT WORK

I have watched our mental health system spiral into crisis, and our communities are suffering. We have to address difficult challenges with realistic solutions, and that starts with treating opioid addiction as a public safety issue. We must prioritize treatment as an alternative to jail time and invest in the facilities necessary for meaningful recovery.

KEEPING GOVERNMENT IN CHECK

I’ve seen first-hand how devastating the lockdowns, long quarantines, and vaccine mandates have been on our police and fire services ability to keep our communities safe. We must take action to ensure the proper balance of power is restored and get back to addressing the critical needs of Oregonians.

Healthcare

As a doctor and a mom, I know how important healthcare is. I also know that access to healthcare means little if you can’t afford your medication, can’t visit the doctor because of high deductibles, or can’t miss work for an appointment. We all know the system is broken, and I will fight to fix it so you and your family can get and stay healthy.

Affordable Housing

We need 140,000 new homes right now to house every Oregonian. These homes must be affordable so working- and middle-class families can live where they work and play. Long commutes take time away from family and worsen the climate crisis.

Workers’ Rights

Farm workers, who have worked throughout the pandemic to feed us, just won the right to overtime pay in Oregon. But we must do more. Like all workers, their voice deserves to be heard, including through the right to form a union, bargain collectively, and have safe workplaces especially with climate-induced wildfires and extreme heat. Workers’ rights advance social and economic justice.

Big Corporate Donations

My opponent has accepted thousands from oil and gas companies. I do not accept donations from organizations that do not align with my values and will never accept money from corporate PACs.

Change is Never Easy

We need new leadership in Salem. I will work with anyone ready for bold change. Join us as we build coalitions for an Oregon that works for everyone.

BRINGING ACCOUNTABILITY, COMMON SENSE AND BALANCED GOVERNMENT BACK TO SALEM

Oregon’s government has gone unchecked for too long. It’s time to bring balance to the radical policies coming out of Salem and start holding our elected officials accountable for the dangerous direction our state is heading. It’s time to fix Salem, and that starts here in District 20.

REINVIGORATING OUR ECONOMY AND SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES

As a small business owner, I know what it means to sign both the front and the back of a check. Extreme policies and government overreach have crushed businesses. We need to focus on incentivizing small businesses, strengthening our economy, and building economic opportunity for all of Oregon.

ENHANCING EDUCATION – PUSHING ACHIEVEMENT, NOT MEDIOCRITY

One-sided policies in Salem are severely harming the quality of our education. I’ll fight to create an education system that prides itself in student achievement and provides opportunities for all students.

SUPPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITIES

Around Salem and all of Oregon, we must do more to make our communities safer. We need to support our law enforcement and ensure they have the resources necessary to do their job.

BETTER INVESTMENTS, BETTER OUTCOMES

Salem is unchecked with their one-sided policies resulting in wasted tax dollars, poor outcomes, or unintended consequences. We need to better analyze our policy decisions, so we’re making good investments that are moving our state in the right direction again.
