As a mom and school board member, Sarah is fighting to create a better future for her kids – and yours. That’s why, as your State Representative, she will deliver on:

• Defending reproductive freedom: Sarah will fight to protect and expand reproductive rights, including abortion and contraception.
• Strengthening public schools: Every student deserves a quality education. Sarah will build on her work on the School Board to increase student literacy and ensure students graduating from high school have the skills they need to succeed.
• Climate justice: As a scientist, Sarah knows we must rapidly reduce pollution and invest in clean energy to address the climate crisis. She will fight for carbon reduction programs and hold big polluters accountable.
• Safe communities, preventing gun violence: As a founder of Moms Demand Action-Oregon, Sarah will hold the gun industry accountable and fight to require safety training and a waiting period to buy a gun.
• Addressing housing and homelessness: Oregon is experiencing a housing crisis. Sarah will increase entry-level housing construction so families can afford to live in the communities where they work and expand services so people stay housed.
• Healthcare for all: As a cancer survivor, Sarah is committed to healthcare for everyone. She will expand addiction and mental health services to address the fentanyl and opioid addiction crisis.
