Why Oregon Needs Mike Erickson’s Experience in Congress
Mike Erickson is a Tigard businessman who started his business in his garage and grew it to one of Oregon’s fastest-growing companies. Working two jobs, he put himself through college. He was the first in his family to graduate.
Mike’s wife, a graduate of Linfield University, is a healthcare nurse.
Mike understands how to run a successful business and stay within a budget. He is an everyday problem-solver who helps companies save money. Mike will work across party lines to find solutions.
Mike's father was a police officer for 30 years. Mike understands law enforcement and keeping our community safe. Mike will work to fully fund the police and support law enforcement.
Securing Our Sothern Border
Mike wants our southern border secured now. Allowing 10 million illegal immigrants to pass through our borders without going through proper channels is unthinkable. The massive influx of fentanyl and other drugs is compromising our communities.
Fighting Inflation and Growing our Economy
Let’s say what inflation is: a tax on America’s families. Incompetence by politicians and out-of-control spending policies have led to record inflation. Families are seeing massive price increases at the grocery store and the gas pumps.
Protecting Senior Benefits
Mike is committed to protecting Social Security and Medicare.
Mike believes senior benefits should not be taxed.

- Salinas voted to increase inflation by voting against cutting federal spending by $4.5 trillion (H.R. 2811).
- Salinas has consistently stood with criminals and against law enforcement, working to end the release of mug shots and supporting the restoration of voting rights to murderers and rapists
(Statesman Journal, 4/26/21; 10/9/00). - Salinas voted for tolling on I-5 and HWY 217 (HB 3055, 2021).
