As your senator, I look forward to bridging the rift between all the parties that make up our state government and getting back to the work we’ve been elected to do by and for our constituents. We need to work together to solve issues such as homelessness, local and state-wide infrastructure, and the various local, state, and federal issues that impact Oregonians. I will work to ensure that our citizens have access to healthcare and medical providers, particularly in rural areas. We need work to decrease the number of Oregonians who fall in the gap between qualifying and not qualifying for insurance coverage due to wage status. We must support our public school teachers with fair wages and students with safe, modernized school facilities. I support a woman’s right to self-determination. I will try to bring better-paying jobs and affordable housing along with higher-tech training and jobs, by attracting high-tech firms to work in our great state, especially Southern/rural Oregon.
