Lesly has first-hand experience in how transformational a public school education can be for people. As a union representative in our schools, Lesly has fought for more funding for our public schools, expanded access to early childhood education, and post-high school educational opportunities.
FIXING OREGON’S HOUSING CRISIS
Everyone deserves to live in dignity and be in a safe and stable place, regardless of income. Lesly understands the devastating impact of the housing crisis on working families in Oregon. She will advocate for affordable housing, mental health services, expanded rental assistance programs, and maintaining and strengthening Oregon’s tenant protection laws.
