Bruce Starr is a lifelong Oregonian who grew up on a family farm in Hillsboro. He has served in the Oregon Legislature before, where he was regarded as a transportation expert – providing leadership on the Business and Transportation Committee in both chambers. As a small business owner himself, Bruce would become part of a small group of Oregon legislators with private sector experience if elected.

Local Economy:

Return Oregon’s approach to one that rewards entrepreneurship and enhances small business and well-paying job development. One-party rule has created an economic climate that has bloated public systems and hurt the private sector.

Transportation:

Investing in roads and bridges improves our quality of life, supports our small businesses and enhances our economy. The answer is to re-invest in our roads without tolls.

Stand up to Crime:

Rampant drug use and associated crime has wrecked havoc in our communities. We must ensure that criminals are arrested and prosecuted to keep our communities safe. We should expect nothing less from our government.
