Solutions
- Using years of non-governmental experience bringing solutions to problems. Prioritize what we need to do, ensure that we can afford it and make sure that we spend is well spent.
- Re-focusing government on the issues that improve life for all of us. Education, safety and community well-being are fundamental concerns that require our undivided attention.
- Crafting a strong state economy and making changes to our laws that address our expanding homeless and drug crisis. Changes to our laws that have made the situation worse not better.
Job 1 is repealing those laws. We have somehow lost focus on “actions have consequences” and we need to bring that fundamental principle back to law-making. - Leveraging my experience as an educator to help restructure our failing public school programs. Adding an emphasis to our high schools and community colleges on vocational skills. Crafting a skilled next generation workforce.
- Helping government make the choices to incentivize businesses to come to Oregon, creating the higher paying jobs needed to help break the chain of poverty. Crafting legislation that makes it easier to do business in Oregon.
- My sole purpose is to use my experience to serve the people of Oregon.
