Annessa knows the value of HARD WORK and COMMUNITY
Growing up with a single mom, Annessa’s family often had to choose between food, gas, or medical care. As a working mom raising her family in Gladstone, she knows how important affordable childcare and housing, high-quality education, and safe neighborhoods are. That’s why she fights for our families.
As our State Representative, Annessa is building a brighter future for our community by:
GROWING our ECONOMY
Annessa secured $96 million for housing, addiction resources, and critical infrastructure projects. She’s working to support small businesses and increase workforce training opportunities to strengthen the local economy while creating family-wage jobs.
LOWERING the COST OF LIVING
Annessa knows firsthand that working families struggle to keep up with rising costs. She successfully led the fight against plans to add tolling to I-205. She’s also working to lower the cost of prescription drugs, increase the supply of housing, and make quality child care more affordable, including securing over $99 million to support the Employment Related Day Care Program.
KEEPING our COMMUNITIES SAFE
Annessa passed a landmark victims’ rights package to increase protections for domestic and sexual violence survivors. She also supported legislation that provided additional support for addiction recovery and established a new resource center in Oregon City.
Together we will continue to build a community where everyone can thrive!
