Connecting the Dots for Springfield
I am a people person devoted to making our community thrive. I have fresh ideas to lead Oregon in a successful direction, and will help connect the dots between Springfield’s serious challenges and its bright future.
Working Families First
I first moved to Lane County before the 2008 recession for a union low voltage job, only to be laid off months later. Like many, I’ve experienced the stress of living paycheck to paycheck to provide for my family. We’ve endured bankruptcy while raising three beautiful children. Without the support of our community, I wouldn’t have been able to run a business, raise a family, or give back.
Homelessness and Drug Abuse
As a pastor, I’ve supported people in overcoming daunting obstacles. As State Representative, I plan to do the same by empowering local communities to support their neighbors by stopping the flow of dangerous drugs, keeping violent criminals behind bars, and no longer enabling permanent homelessness.
Protecting Life
My mother was pressured to abort me by her boyfriend. She chose my life over his ultimatum. I live life every day grateful for her decision to give me a chance.
Compassionate Leadership
The political class has lost touch with everyday Oregonians who are struggling and ultimately living with the consequences of that disconnection: high taxes, eroding rights, and divisive politicians.
