When we look back at the last 10 years, we need to ask ourselves; what has gotten better? Has Education improved? Has the cost of living become more affordable? Have we made big progress on addressing homelessness, drug addiction, and overdoses? Has rent stabilized? Have our roads gotten better? Are we handling wildfires better? Is our Infrastructure ready for an earthquake, are there emergency services ready for an earthquake?

Because from what I see, the progress we’ve made is backward. This is despite the Majority Party passing large bills and increases in taxes to address these issues.

Were these bad bills, or was the implementation of those bills done poorly? Either way, those elected and put in charge have failed to make progress in this state. We need people in the Legislature who will hold our government accountable, with genuine authentic accountability. We don’t need people in office giving free passes to the Executive Branch. Rather we need someone who sees the problems and holds the Executive Branch accountable.

That’s why I’m running to represent you. I’m running to bring True Authentic Accountability to the Legislature. So we can make forward progress; not go backwards.
