ABOUT MIKE McLANE
Mike grew up in Condon, Oregon and was active in 4-H, FFA, and sports. Today, Mike lives with his wife on a small farm in Crook County. They have three grown children. Mike served as the Oregon House Republican Leader for six years and has a track record of defending conservative principles in our capitol.
ADVOCATING THE RULE OF LAW
Our Republic is built on the rule of law. Our elected leaders cannot give way to the demands of the mob and allow public policy to diminish the rule of law or our constitutional rights. Mike has spent a career protecting our rights.
FIGHTING FOR FARMS AND RANCHES
Central and Eastern Oregon are large producers of the food that feeds people and fuels our economy. Yet, despite all the good there are those on the political left that are targeting modern agriculture through radical petitions and litigation. Mike is dedicated to protecting our farms and ranches and sound stewardship.
WORKING FOR VETERANS
Mike knows the importance of supporting veterans and our armed services men and women. In 2018, Mike introduced House Bill 4035, which grants tuition assistance to enlisted members of the Oregon National Guard, something every state but Oregon did. HB 4035 passed unanimously.
