Position on Oregon Government

The State of Oregon’s one-party rule has been a disaster for rural Oregonians. With the Oregon House, Senate, Governorship and Judicial branches all controlled by the same party, the people of rural Oregon, independent and non-affiliated Conservatives and even liberty loving democrats no longer have a voice. Even a group of republicans are trying to thwart the primary process and “assign” candidates to act in their interests rather than the best interests of Liberty, the State and Nation. I am running to stand against this and to stand up for my rural House District. We must stand against taxation without representation and government intrusion of our God-given rights as Americans.

Positions On Oregon Public Education

I am at the forefront of parent’s rights to be informed and engaged in the education of their children. This includes any attempt to surreptitiously inculcate our children with government mandated curriculum counter to our House District’s traditional values.

Positions on Critical Issues

Absolutely Pro-Life. Absolute Second Amendment. Less government, less taxes, more Liberty. Must put a stop to administrative overreach.

Schools are a place for education not indoctrination, we must protect our children.

Thank you for your Vote.

CELESTE McENTEE BRINGING BALANCE

There is a real opportunity for BALANCE in Oregon in 2022. One sided, Portland policies have been the rule in Oregon for far too long. This is the year to change that, and it starts right here in House District 10.

ADVOCATING FOR SMALL BUSINESS ENDING GOVERNMENT OVERREACH

Let’s expand opportunities on the coast for people to create their own futures. As a business owner, I know first-hand the challenges placed on us. Government overreach from one-sided policies really took its toll on our business community. It is time to get government out of our way, so our communities can thrive.

LET’S CONTINUE TO INVEST IN OUR ROADS AND BRIDGES

Everyone in Oregon uses Highway 101. We need to make its funding a real priority for the state—not just default to new gas taxes or tolls—to ensure the coast stays the great playground that it is for all Oregonians.

EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION, NOT LOWERING THE BAR

We must raise the standards of education in Oregon to be competitive in other parts of the state and across our nation. I will be a strong advocate for local—not Portland—control of our education system.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING NOW, NOT TOMORROW

We must take action today to create affordable housing options on the coast for our workers, families, and retirees looking to enjoy the wonderful coastal lifestyle.

STANDING STRONG FOR POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS

Our first responders are critical here on the coast. We must make a stronger effort to fund the departments more securely and provide the necessary tools for continued protection of our communities.

MICHAEL MOORE-A FRESH PERSPECTIVE FOR OREGON

Michael strongly supports term limits for elected officials and will pledge to serve only two terms if elected.

Standing up for Law Enforcement

Michael will fight against any effort to defund the police. He will also fight to keep violent criminals behind bars.

Fix Oregon’s Addiction Crisis

Michael understands that the root of Oregon’s homelessness crisis is chronic alcohol and drug addiction. As your next State Representative, Michael will work to give local communities the resources they need to fight addiction.

Empower Parents in Education

Michael supports parental involvement in education and opposes any effort to teach divisive curriculum, including CRT, behind parents’ backs. He supports efforts requiring all curriculum to be posted online.

Tax Relief for Oregonians

Michael opposes any new taxes on the middle class and supports exempting basic necessities including food and medicine from Oregon’s gross receipts tax to help struggling families hit hard by inflation.

Alan Stout

Occupation: Sales Manager

Occupational Background: Sales, ESL Teacher

Educational Background: St. Olaf College, BA, University of Notre Dame, MTS

Prior Governmental Experience: None

ABOUT ALAN STOUT

Alan is a third-generation Oregonian from a family of foresters, military pilots, small business owners, and artists. Alan currently wholesales building materials, including wood and steel rebar, for some of Oregon’s largest mills and manufacturers. Alan and his wife Angela raise their four young children in Springfield. In his spare time, he leads a church choir in Springfield and is an avid fly fisherman.

ALAN FIGHTS FOR SPRINGFIELD FAMILIES

Springfield is only as strong as its families. Democrat policies have pushed hundreds of local families to leave Oregon and its schools due to lack of affordability, restrictions on our basic freedoms, and poor educational support. Alan will not rest until every family in Springfield is thriving.

SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESS

Current tax policies and unhelpful mandates have driven up costs for our employers and kept local wages low. Alan understands what needs to be done to protect workers, lower tax burdens, and remove harmful regulations so that Springfield can grow strong.

PROTECTING THE COMMUNITY

Springfield’s police and firefighters are crucial partners for keeping our families safe. Instead of radical policies, Alan will push to protect local control and accountability for our police and fire departments.

SUPPORT FOR TEACHERS, SUPPORT FOR PARENTS

Teachers and parents have been pushed beyond their limits by the current administration’s COVID policies and fruitless requirements from the state Capitol. We need educational options that inspire and engage, not erase standards. Alan will support teachers and parents working together at the local level.

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT AND SOLUTIONS TO HOMELESSNESS

We must support mental health services for all, from stressed parents to those who are homeless or suffering from addiction. Current policies invite us to bury our heads in the sand and refuse to help those most vulnerable. Changing our approach will require a change in leadership.

BRADY KEISTER STATEMENT OF CANDIDACY:

I’m an Oregon native running for state representative in Oregon’s District 3 encompassing Grants Pass and Cave Junction and surrounding area of Josephine County. I was born in Portland. We moved to Grants Pass in 1946. I am well-educated and have extensive life experience. I am a careful decision-maker and seek complete information bearing on an issue. I am an attentive listener. I am a life-long learner who respects other’s points of view and have interests in secularist beliefs and philosophies. I believe an elected person, in any office, should accurately state their beliefs and hold to them.

I want to see better government that works cooperatively across all facets of the pollical spectrum. Politically, I am moderate, and do not agree with radical progressiveness. I am a firm believer in the separation of church and state. I believe that Oregon’s election system is safe and secure.

I believe in science and believe that climate change is the gravest issue facing humanity worldwide and, with the drought, locally. Healthcare is a human right and that all Oregonians should be covered by a single payer system.

I am chair of the Josephine County Democrats Gun Owner’s Caucus and a sport shooter. I am for gun owner competency.

If elected I will be a forthright spokesperson for Josephine County, bringing attention to its struggle with illegal cannabis grows, law enforcement funding, housing and homelessness, water depletion issues, and fire protection. I will go to the legislature pledged to represent all county residents. Everyone, from the person in a tent by the road to the people in the house on the hill deserve representation. I will give it to them.

Rainey S Lambert

I grew up right in the heart of representative district 2 in the stunning and quaint city of Roseburg, Oregon. I’m a proud graduate of Roseburg High School and student at Southwestern Oregon Community College, where I study history and compete at the national level for their renowned swim team.

I grew up in a lower middle class family with a disabled father and a mother who is a rural teacher in Douglas County. I’ve always known that I started at a disadvantage, but that won’t stop me from working hard and improving my own situation as well as others who find themselves struggling to get by.

What is happening north up in Salem isn’t what the people of Oregon want. I believe that the people of Oregon are tired of seeing our communities torn apart by constant bickering and “do-nothing” legislation.

Salem needs a voice of the next generation that is tired of all the B.S and will fight for the issues that matter most.

I’m running for office because District 2 is my home and I want to see it live up to the potential I know it’s capable of. We live in such a unique area of the State, we need to see that its people, jobs and environment are represented with integrity and grit.
